Dr. Bhaskar Dasgupta is the Executive Director & Chief Advisory Officer, Global Infrastructure Management at Coindesu Technologies Pvt Ltd.  Dr. Dasgupta is an accomplished manager with 32+ years of experience in IT and Telecom Global Remote Infrastructure Services across multiple technologies domain and business lines. He had experience in handling global IT supports for different projects for last 33 years. He was master mind in developing many RFP, SOW and SLA for different IT solutions. Dr. Dasgupta is a Certified PMP from PMI, USA, Certified ITIL from HP India, capable of handling multiple projects, has excellent and maintained relationship with customers and business partners. He is accustomed to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment and experienced in offshore and onsite multi location delivery models. His responsibility includes meeting KPI and operational excellence, customer satisfaction (CSAT), P&L and revenue target of existing business, attrition control and employee’s satisfaction. He is a hard core sales and marketing person. Mainly in sales oriented customer services, understanding and developing new market and training focused sales team. His various positions include General Manager, Remote Infra Structure Management Services (Service Delivery), Project Manager / Program Manager, Regional Manager ( Sales and Marketing), Customer support function, Customer Support Engineer.

Imparting corporate training is one of his strong areas of interest where he adds many values for the corporate entity and talents building.

Dr. Dasgupta has done his PhD in Strategic Marketing  on topic title “ Measuring the Effectiveness of Blue Ocean Strategy with respect to  India IT Industry “.

One could use him in the areas of Strategy and Business Development, Sales and Marketing with Customer Relationship Management in the back end.

In my professional career in IT, I have been privileged to operate in various IT functions in particular Global Infrastructure Management Pre and Post-sales support, Solution development phase in RFP, Data Center Management and Operation, Hardware integration, Cloud computing, Program & Application Development & Management across multiple technology domains and business lines and Internal IT supports as head of IT of the organization.

All these experience that I have accumulated so far have given me a precise understanding of the IT organization and its workflow and possibilities for process optimization & transformation. My career goal so far was and is to utilize all the skills and experience that I can manage to drive a successful business.

The most recent accomplishment that I have is setting up of Shared Service facilities across the country and overseas for the organization. It started with conceptualizations, signing of Project charter, planning, vender development & procurement, implementation of project and final sign off with a team of dedicated resources. In fact it was the first Shared Service operation in India.

Presently heading a large team to provide services in the area of Infrastructure Management Services for 24X7 supports with an annual P&L responsibility.

• Support of pre and post sales activities, handling RFP, bids, client facing.

• Ensure that the project deliverables are of the required quality defined in the business case, and produced within the agreed time and cost.

• Deliver on service commitments (SLA / KPI) and participate in account plan/strategy. Monitor and manage service level performance and report potential exposures in a timely manner.

• Ensure client satisfaction (CSAT) and client relationship. Drive & Manage service quality, performance, and improvement of service delivery processes.

• Working on Transformation solution for all legacy systems of clients with a commitment of growth and savings in a business ready environment (BRI) in a WIN – WIN environment.

• Offering Cloud computing as a heterogeneous solution keeping in view the cost and old system hardware.

• Review resource performance and any other resource issues with Customer.

• Securing budgets and ensuring appropriate financial controls are in place. Continually identify ways to reduce costs in delivering the services and improve service deliverables.

• Provide account technical leadership/direction and support with COE. Participate in solution development phase of bid life.

• Responsible for people management with specific reference to managing Attrition, Growth and Development of the people working in the team.

• Work closely with resource management team to manage the resource fulfillment process needed to run the delivery operation well and to avoid Attrition and Revenue loss.
